Outside of work...
I'm an avid basketball fan and I love my hometown team: the Sacramento Kings! One of my bucket list goals is to visit every NBA team's arena and so far I have only done 4 out of 30.
I love traveling and experiencing new food from different cultures. My favorite destination so far has been Japan! I've visited there 3 times already, but I wish I could go every year.
I try to keep myself active by going for a run, bike ride, or playing basketball. But when I'm not keeping my heart rate up, I like to play video games or admire my Transformers collection.

Hi! My name is Emerson Delacruz and I'm currently a Footwear Designer at TOMS. I have a B.S. in Industrial Design from CSU Long Beach and a Design Certificate from Springboard's UI / UX Bootcamp, a design-intensive online program consisting of 700+ hours of self-paced work. I have over 8 years of professional design experience.
I am passionate about the design process and using my creative skillset to solve problems. I care about creating well-designed products and services that enhance people's lives while being intuitive, inclusive, and accessible. I believe that the pursuit of innovation will ultimately create a better future.
